List your data for AI licensing. Reviewed by a person, priced by you.
Studios, labs, archives, photographers, and companies all hold the human-made data that AI teams cannot find on the open web. List your data for AI licensing in one short form: what it is, who owns it, and whether the people in it agreed. The eeko data team reviews it, checks rights and consent, and finds you buyers at terms you choose. Nothing is published, and nothing is uploaded, at this stage.
What does it mean to list your data for AI licensing?
To list your data for AI licensing is to describe a collection you hold, confirm who owns it and who has consented, and let a data team find AI buyers willing to pay a licence fee for the right to train or evaluate models on it. The listing is the description and the terms. The data itself stays where it is until a buyer has signed and you have approved the delivery.
eeko runs this as part of its AI training data practice because the enterprise models we build need material that has never been scraped: a decade of inspection photographs, a lab's labeled microscopy, a studio's multitrack sessions, a fleet's sensor logs with the outcomes attached. That material sits with owners who often have no idea it is worth anything, and no safe way to offer it. This page is the safe way.
If what you hold is your own creative work, read how creators license their work for AI first and then come back to the form. If it is a company's operational records such as tickets, CRM history, or call recordings, the company data valuation page is the better route, because the rights review is different. Everything else, from a personal archive to a research collection, belongs here.
Four steps from a description to a licence fee.
Each step waits for you. We do not move a listing forward without your approval, and we never offer data to a buyer before the terms are agreed in writing.
Data AI teams license from owners like you.
The format matters less than the provenance. If a person made it, you can show where it came from, and it has not been published at scale, there is usually a buyer.
List your data for AI licensing: the form.
Private. Read by a person on the eeko data team. Nothing is published, shared, or offered to anyone as a result of submitting it.
Your listing is with the data team.
A person reads every listing and we answer inside one business day with an honest read on demand, pricing, and anything the collection needs before it can be licensed. Nothing has been published. Questions in the meantime go to thomas@eeko.systems.
What we check before a dataset reaches a buyer.
A listed dataset is worth more than a folder on a drive because of what has been verified about it. These are the checks, and they are the same ones behind every dataset eeko delivers.
The listing review, item by item
- Rights — who made it, who owns it, and whether any licence you hold allows sublicensing. Contracts and prior agreements are read, not assumed.
- Consent — releases for every recognizable person, or a plan to collect them, or those items set aside.
- Human origin — generator signatures, C2PA and IPTC fields, and a human review, so a buyer knows a model did not make it.
- Fingerprint and timestamp — a cryptographic hash and a perceptual fingerprint per item, anchored to an independent timestamp.
- Quality and metadata — formats, labels, duplicates, corruption, and gaps, with a short list of fixes that would raise the price.
- Demand — a plain answer on who is buying this kind of material and at what rate, so you can set a realistic price.
- Delivery — exports in JSON Lines, CSV, Parquet, WebDataset, COCO, or with Croissant metadata, and a signed receipt that itemizes every file the buyer received.
Read the full method on the verified human data page. The record you receive is the same one the buyer receives.
Licence terms, in your hands.
A licence from the eeko catalogue is a plain-language contract. Before any buyer sees the listing, these points are agreed with you and recorded against every item.
- Use Training, evaluation, benchmarking, or research only
- Term A fixed period, after which the licence expires
- Exclusivity Non-exclusive, exclusive, or evaluation-only
- Price Per item, per collection, or per period for a feed
- Restrictions Anything a buyer may not do, in your words
The practice only works if owners trust it. These commitments are the same for a single photographer and for an archive with a million items.
- No surprise buyers Any buyer or use can be declined, no reason needed
- No silent changes Every change to terms issues a new signed record
- No anonymous resale Buyers sign a receipt listing every item
- No lock-in Withdraw a listing for future deals at any time
- A real reply A person, inside one business day, every time
Who lists data with eeko.
Listing data for AI licensing: owner questions.
What types of data can I list for AI licensing?
Photographs and illustration, video and film footage, audio and speech recordings, written text and documents, 3D models and CAD files, robotics and sensor logs, and structured tables. Three things matter more than the format: a person made it rather than a model, you own the rights or can introduce us to the owner, and every recognizable person in it has agreed to AI use. If you are unsure on any of those, list it anyway and say so; the review will sort it out.
Is my data published or shared when I submit the listing form?
No. The form is a description, not an upload. Nothing you write is visible to buyers or to anyone outside the eeko data team. A person reads it, decides whether there is a realistic buyer, and answers inside one business day. Only after you have agreed the price, the licence type, and the restrictions does anything about the dataset appear in the catalogue, and even then buyers see a description and samples you approved, never the full set.
Do I keep ownership of data I license through eeko?
Yes. A licence grants a buyer permission to use the data for a stated purpose, usually model training or evaluation, for a stated term. Copyright and ownership do not move. Under a non-exclusive licence you can license the same data to other buyers, keep using it yourself, and withdraw it from the catalogue for future deals. Under an exclusive licence you agree not to license it elsewhere for the term, in exchange for a higher fee.
What happens if nobody in my recordings has signed a release?
Pick the nearest answer on the form and list it anyway. Some buyers and some uses need a signed release per person; others, such as footage where people are incidental and de-identified, do not. Where releases are needed we can supply a release that covers AI training, help you collect it, or carve out the items that lack one and list the rest. Nothing with a recognizable person goes to a buyer until that question is settled.
How is the price of a dataset licence decided?
You name the price or ask for guidance. In the reply we tell you plainly where the figure sits against what AI teams are paying for similar material, and what would raise it: clean rights, consistent metadata, labels, a long time span, or a subject that is hard to capture. Licences are priced per collection or per item, and exclusivity, evaluation-only use, and ongoing feeds each carry a different rate. You accept or decline every offer.
How does eeko verify a dataset before it is licensed?
Every item is hashed and perceptually fingerprinted, screened for generator signatures and C2PA or IPTC provenance fields, reviewed by a person for human origin and quality, and tied to its consent and licence terms in a signed record with an independent timestamp. The audit trail is hash-chained, and the buyer signs a delivery receipt that lists every item. That is why buyers pay more for a listed dataset than for a folder on a drive.

Describe what you hold. We will tell you what it is worth.
Two minutes on the form, one business day for a reply from a person. No upload, no commitment, nothing published. If there is a buyer, you hear who and at what price before you decide anything.
