screen capture program / office work

AI training jobs for bookkeepers and other office workers. No camera. Just the apps you pick.

The month-end close, the payroll run, the claim that needs three systems to settle: that is the work AI agents are trying to learn, and the best teacher is the person who does it every day. Bookkeepers, paralegals, payroll and HR admins, assistants, and billing specialists run a small recorder that captures only the applications they allow, and eeko's data practice pays $25 for each hour of recording that clears review, with personal data redacted and your employer's permission in writing first.

What the screen recorder sees, and what it never does.

This is a no-camera program. The tool is ours, it lives on your own machine, and it is built so that the only thing leaving your machine is a task you chose to share.

01 / scope
An allow list of apps, nothing else
On the onboarding call you pick the applications the recorder may capture: QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Excel, Gusto, ADP, Clio, your practice management or claims system. Windows outside the list are invisible to it, including your browser unless you add it.
02 / inputs
Clicks and keystrokes inside those windows
The point is the sequence: what you opened, what you checked, where you typed. Keystrokes are captured only within allowed apps, and password fields and card-entry fields are masked at the source.
03 / neverOFF
No webcam, no microphone, no desktop
The recorder has no access to your camera or audio, does not take screenshots of the whole desktop, and shows a persistent indicator while it runs so you are never unsure whether it is on.
04 / control
Pause, review, delete, uninstall
One click pauses it for a personal message or a sensitive file. Each session stays local until you have watched it back and chosen to upload. Delete anything you are unsure about. Uninstall it the day you want out.

What is an AI training job for an office worker?

AI training jobs for bookkeepers and other office workers pay you to record real administrative tasks on screen so that AI agents can learn how business software is actually used. Not annotation, not surveys, not chatbot rating: your normal job, in your normal tools, with a recorder running in the background and a short note saying what each task was. The recordings are reviewed, redacted, and licensed to AI teams, and you are paid per accepted hour.

eeko builds enterprise AI agents and automation for regulated companies, so we know exactly what those models are missing: evidence of how an experienced person reconciles a ledger, chases a denial, or assembles a filing, including the checks a job description never mentions. Our data practice records that evidence with consent and a verifiable record on every item. The office program sits beside customer support and design and editing, and every program is listed with its rate at get paid to train AI.

Office tasks worth recording, in the software you already use.

Six kinds of session we accept most often

  • Books and close — categorizing transactions, matching bank feeds, entering bills and invoices, fixed-asset and accrual entries, and the month-end checklist in accounting software.
  • Spreadsheet work — cleaning exports, lookups and pivots, building a report, and moving figures between systems without breaking them.
  • Payroll and HR — running a pay cycle, onboarding paperwork, benefits changes, time-sheet approvals, and keeping employee records current.
  • Documents and filings — drafting from a template, completing forms, e-filing, proofreading, and assembling a document set in the right order.
  • Inbox, calendar, and expenses — triaging mail, scheduling, booking travel, preparing a meeting pack, and coding an expense report.
  • Claims and billing — entering and scrubbing claims, coding, posting payments, working denials, and the follow-up call notes that go with them.

Apply, install, record, get paid.

STEP 01
Apply below
Your role, the software you live in, roughly how many hours you could record, and two or three sentences on a normal week. No résumé or interview; a person replies within one business day.
STEP 02
Permission and setup
We sort out written permission with your employer or clients, or set you up on sample data. Then a short call to install the recorder, set the allow list, and agree what must never be captured.
STEP 03
Record real tasks
Start the recorder, work exactly as you normally would, pause when you need to, and add a one-line note per task. Watch each session back before you upload it.
STEP 04
Review and payout
A reviewer checks each upload inside a few days and tells you what passed. Accepted hours are credited at $25 and paid out through Stripe with a per-session breakdown.

Customer data is redacted. Employers agree in writing.

The data buyers want is the workflow, not the client. Two layers keep it that way: what the recorder strips out, and whose signature is on file before anything real is recorded.

redaction
What is removed before a reviewer sees it

Redaction runs on the recording before it leaves our intake, and you have already watched the session yourself before uploading.

  • Identities Names, emails, phone numbers, and street addresses of clients, employees, and patients
  • Numbers Account, routing, card, Social Security, policy, and member numbers
  • Secrets Passwords and MFA prompts are masked at capture, never stored
  • Regulated material PHI, privileged legal files, and NDA-covered content stay out unless the owner has agreed
permission
Whose agreement has to exist first

Your own practice data needs nobody's permission. Anyone else's work does, and we would rather ask them than have you do it.

  • Employed The firm or company signs a short agreement naming systems and clients in scope
  • Freelance Each client whose books or inbox you would record agrees in writing
  • Teams Whole back offices join under one agreement so nobody negotiates alone
  • No permission yet Record on our sample company at the full rate while they decide

$25 an accepted hour, beside your salary rather than instead of it.

Counted on accepted recording

Not on hours at the desk. Once your allow list and task notes are right, expect 70 to 85 percent of uploads to clear. Record ten, have eight accepted, and that is $200; a thirty-hour week at that ratio is about $600.

A licence payment, not a wage

Your salary or client fees are untouched. eeko pays separately for recordings that clear review, under a short participation agreement, and the first hour you record is paid even when it does not pass.

Paid out through Stripe

Accepted sessions go into your balance and are paid out automatically. Each upload comes back itemized, so you know what cleared and why anything did not.

Nothing to buy, rate in writing

The recorder is free and runs on the computer you already have. Your rate is confirmed before you record; if the program rate moves later, hours already accepted keep the old one.

A payroll run as a reviewer sees it: the sequence intact, the employee identities gone.

An hour is accepted when it clears four checks.

check 1
A real task, first click to last
From opening the first window to the point you would call it done, in your everyday software. Idle stretches, personal browsing, and breaks are paused, not padded.
check 2
Complete capture plus a task note
Full-resolution recording of the allowed apps with the inputs behind it, and a sentence saying what the task was. Missing notes are the most common reason a session comes back.
check 3
You were entitled to record it
Your own work, our sample data, or an employer or client whose written agreement is on file. Anything else is returned unpaid, however good it looks.
check 4
Not a repeat
Each task is paid once. The same invoice entered twenty times, or a trivial step looped to fill an hour, is not accepted. Reviewers are looking for the variety of a real week.

Bookkeepers and office workers ask us.

How much do AI training jobs for bookkeepers and office staff pay?

$25 for each hour of screen recording that a reviewer accepts, paid in addition to your salary or client fees. It is counted on accepted recording, not hours at your desk: breaks, personal browsing, and anything you pause are never uploaded, and reviewers typically return 15 to 30 percent of early sessions, usually for a missing task note. Eight accepted hours out of ten recorded is $200 in a week; thirty hours at the same ratio is roughly $600. No cap, no quota, no fee to join.

What does the screen recorder actually capture?

Only the application windows you have put on its allow list, plus the clicks and keystrokes inside them. It is a small tool we supply for Windows or Mac. It does not touch your webcam or microphone, it cannot see windows you have not allowed, it shows a clear indicator whenever it is running, and one click pauses it. Every session sits on your machine until you have reviewed it and chosen to upload; you can delete one outright at any point before that.

My work involves client and employee data. Can I still take part?

Usually, with the sensitive parts handled. Names, addresses, account and routing numbers, Social Security numbers, card details, and passwords are redacted before a recording reaches a reviewer, and you check each session yourself before uploading. Privileged legal material, protected health information, and anything covered by a non-disclosure agreement is kept out entirely unless whoever owns that information has agreed in writing. If permission is not available, record the same kinds of tasks on the sample company we provide; those sessions pay the same.

Does my employer or client have to approve this?

Before any of their real work is recorded, yes, in writing. A firm or back office normally signs one short agreement that names which systems and clients are in scope and how redaction works, and then the whole team can record without anyone negotiating on their own. If you would rather we made the approach to your employer, mention it in the form. Freelance bookkeepers and VAs need the same from each client whose books or inbox they would record.

Can I use practice tasks on sample data rather than real work?

Yes, and plenty do. We maintain sample companies, document sets, and inboxes with realistic ledgers, invoices, payroll files, and correspondence. Reconciling a sample bank feed, running a mock payroll, or assembling a filing from our templates is accepted at the full $25 rate, provided it is done the way you would do it for a real client. Plenty of people start here while their employer reviews the agreement, and some never move to live data at all.

What do the recordings teach, and who gets them?

They teach AI agents that operate business software which window to open, what to check before acting, and how a person knows the task is actually finished. eeko builds such agents for regulated enterprises, and the recordings reach approved AI organizations holding a written licence, each with its consent record, cryptographic fingerprint, and signed provenance entry attached and personal details stripped. They are never published or placed on an open marketplace. The data capture page covers every step.

Is there a contract, a minimum, or anything to install permanently?

A short participation agreement covering what may be recorded, how consent works, and pay. No exclusivity, no minimum hours, no notice period. The recorder is an ordinary application you can uninstall whenever you want to stop, and uninstalling it ends the program for you with nothing further owed in either direction. This is not employment and not a wage; it is a licence payment for recordings that pass review, paid out through Stripe.

Run an accounting firm, an agency, or a back office?

Teams join under one agreement. We agree the systems, the clients, and the redaction rules with you before anyone installs the recorder, and every member of staff is paid for accepted hours. One page of terms, one named contact at eeko, no deck.
