AI training jobs for housekeepers and cleaners. A robot still cannot fold a fitted sheet. You can.
Hotel housekeepers, residential cleaners, laundry staff, janitors, and turnover crews wear a small camera on a normal shift and upload the footage. eeko pays $12 for every hour that passes review, in addition to what you already earn, and the footage shows household robots how beds get made, towels get folded, and a room gets reset by someone who does it every day.
What is an AI training job for a cleaner?
An AI training job for housekeepers and cleaners pays you to film your normal cleaning work from your own point of view, so that household and hospitality robots can learn from it. The companies building those robots have plenty of footage of factories. What they lack is thousands of hours of a real person stripping a bed, wringing a mop, loading a dishwasher around an odd-shaped pot, and getting a corner that the vacuum cannot reach.
eeko builds AI systems for enterprises, and the models behind the next generation of home robots need data nobody has published: consented, human-made, and verified clip by clip. Our data capture practice collects it, and this program is one of the capture programs on our get paid to train AI hub. It is the right one for anyone whose job is making a space clean again.
You do not learn anything new or change how you clean. The only additions are a camera on a chest strap and a consent form for the home or property.
Apply, get set up, clean, get paid.
Recording begins only after onboarding and only once the homeowner, the hotel, or your employer has agreed in writing. We handle the paperwork side of that with you.
The housekeeping tasks AI teams ask for most.
Everything below is ordinary work. It is valuable precisely because a machine finds it extraordinarily hard.
Whose permission we need, home by home and hotel by hotel.
You hand the client a one-page form we write for you. You record a room only while no one else is in it. Photos, letters, prescriptions, laptops, and anything else personal that ends up in frame is blurred before a buyer ever sees the clip.
- Client says no That home is not recorded; nothing else changes
- Client says yes The form is stored with every clip from that home
- You decide Skip any room or any client, any time
Hotels, cleaning companies, and rental managers usually join as a group. Guest rooms are recorded only after checkout. Offices are recorded after hours or in empty areas. Coworkers who pass through are blurred, and the company can mark floors or rooms as off limits.
- One agreement No one needs to raise it with a manager alone
- Each cleaner paid Every accepted hour goes to the person who filmed it
- We approach them Tick the box in the form and we contact your employer
$12 an hour of accepted footage, paid by Stripe, itemized.
What a housekeeper's first week actually looks like.
An illustrative log for a hotel housekeeper on the program. Every upload gets a line like this back from the reviewer.
Apply to the housekeeping capture program.
Takes about two minutes. A person reads it, not a filter, and replies within one business day with whether we can take you on right now.
Thanks. Your application is with us.
Someone on the eeko data team will read it and reply within one business day with whether the housekeeping program fits what you do and what the next step is. Nothing gets recorded before onboarding. Questions in the meantime go to thomas@eeko.systems.
Housekeeping and cleaning AI training jobs, asked and answered.
How much can a housekeeper or cleaner make recording for AI?
$12 for each hour of footage that clears review, paid in addition to your regular wages or cleaning fees. Count accepted hours, not hours on the clock: you pause for breaks and for anyone walking into the room, and reviewers typically decline somewhere between 15 and 30 percent of what comes in while people get used to the camera. Eight accepted hours in a week is $96. A housekeeper recording most of a full-time schedule, with the same share accepted, lands near $290 a week. No cap, no minimum, and the rate is confirmed in writing before you start.
I clean private homes. Is it okay to record there?
Only with the homeowner's written agreement, which you collect on a short form we give you. The camera is aimed at your hands and the surface you are cleaning, you film rooms only when they are empty, and anything personal that drifts into frame, such as photos, mail, medication, and screens, is blurred before the footage goes anywhere. A client who prefers not to be part of it is simply not recorded, and that changes nothing about your work for them.
Can I join if my employer is a hotel or a cleaning company?
Yes, once the company has agreed, and in most cases we sign the whole property or company up as a group so no housekeeper has to approach a manager alone. Guest rooms are recorded only after checkout, never while a guest is in residence, and the room and your hands are the subject rather than the guest. If you would like us to contact your employer on your behalf, say so in the form and we will.
Is this a wage, and does it change my current job?
This is not a wage, and your current job is untouched. You keep your hours, your pay, and your clients. eeko pays separately for the footage itself, by the accepted hour, under a short participation agreement you can end whenever you like. There is no exclusivity and no required number of hours. A slow week, or a week where you record nothing, simply means no capture payment that week.
What equipment do I need, and do you provide it?
A phone or small action camera you already own, worn on a chest strap so both hands are free. We do not supply cameras, but on the onboarding call we check what you have, show you where to clip it so towels and sheets stay in frame, and send you a short checklist. Rooms are usually well lit, which makes housekeeping one of the easiest programs to get accepted in.
What makes an hour count as accepted?
A person on our review team watches it and confirms four things: it shows real cleaning or laundry work from your point of view, the picture is clear enough to follow what your hands are doing, the home or property had agreed to recording in writing, and it is not a repeat of something you already sent. Each upload comes back with a short note on what passed and what to change, so most people are above 80 percent accepted within a few uploads.
Who sees the footage of my cleaning work?
Approved robotics and AI companies that have signed a written licence with eeko. They are building household robots and need to see how real hands handle fabric, clutter, corners, and grime. Faces, documents, and screens are removed first, every clip carries its consent record and a signed provenance record, and nothing is ever put on a public site or an open data marketplace. Our verified human data page explains the full chain of custody.
Manage a hotel or a cleaning company? Enroll the whole team.
Properties and companies join under one agreement. Every housekeeper on the team can record, each accepted hour is paid to the person who filmed it, and we take care of guest-room rules and consent so your front desk never has to. Tell us the size of the team in the form, or ask for a call.
