AI training data solutions. Every stage of the model, covered.
Pre-training corpora, demonstrations, preference pairs, held-out tests, adversarial prompts, and the speech, images, video, geometry, and documents that multimodal models learn from. eeko's AI training data solutions cover fourteen data types, each sourced from consenting people or credential-checked experts, verified item by item, and delivered in the format your pipeline already reads.
What are AI training data solutions?
AI training data solutions are the distinct kinds of data a model needs between its first training run and production, supplied as a service rather than scraped from wherever they can be found. A model that cannot do a task needs demonstrations. One that can do it but chooses badly needs preference data. One you cannot measure needs a benchmark it has never seen. Perception and multimodal models need speech, images, video, geometry, and documents with the rights to train on them. Each is a different sourcing problem with a different expert behind it.
eeko runs these as fourteen named solutions, listed below, because the models inside the agents, retrieval systems, and automations we build for regulated clients kept needing data that did not exist. The data practice makes it: from people who agreed to the use, checked by people qualified to judge it, and carrying a signed provenance record on every item.
Pick the solution that matches your gap, or send the gap and let a data lead propose the mix. The sector-by-sector view is on the industries hub; the people behind the data are on the expertise hub.
Training data services for language and reasoning models.
Text written, compared, and graded by specialists, in the language it was meant to be in. The six solutions most briefs start with.
Sensor and media datasets with the rights attached.
Recordings and media from people who agreed to AI training, with releases, captions, duplicate checks, and personal data handled before delivery.
Annotation and licensing, for data you already have.
Two solutions that start from your archive rather than ours: labels from specialists, and a rights record you can defend.
The record that travels with each item.
Whichever solution you choose, the delivered dataset carries the same verification layer. It is what lets your counsel sign off and your evaluators trust the split.
Delivered the way your pipeline loads it.
Six formats, agreed before the pilot
- JSON Lines — the default for text, dialogue, preference, and evaluation data, one record per line with your field names.
- CSV and Parquet — for tabular and structured sets, and for teams loading straight into a warehouse or a dataframe.
- WebDataset — sharded tar archives for speech, image, video, and teleoperation data at training scale.
- COCO — detection, segmentation, and keypoint annotations for vision tasks, with category maps as specified.
- Croissant — machine-readable metadata describing the whole dataset: sources, licence, splits, and schema.
Need something else? Say so in the brief. Format is a line in the specification, not a surprise at delivery.
From specification to receipted delivery.
Fixed scope, fixed price, pilot before volume. The same four steps whichever solution, or combination, the brief calls for.
Three solutions, as delivered.
AI training data solutions: common questions.
What are AI training data solutions?
They are the distinct kinds of data a model needs at each stage of its life, delivered as a service rather than scraped: demonstrations for supervised fine-tuning, comparisons for reward modeling, held-out items for evaluation, adversarial prompts for safety work, and the raw media, such as speech, images, video, 3D geometry, and documents, that perception and multimodal models learn from. eeko offers fourteen of them, each sourced from consenting people or vetted experts, checked one item at a time, and delivered under a licence that names the use.
How do I choose between SFT data, RLHF data, and evaluation benchmarks?
By what the model is doing wrong. If it does not know how to perform a task at all, it needs demonstrations: supervised fine-tuning data written by people who do that task well. If it can perform the task but picks the wrong answer among plausible ones, it needs preference data from raters qualified to judge. If you cannot tell which problem you have, you need a private evaluation set first, because public benchmarks leak and will flatter the model. Most briefs end up combining two of the three, and the pilot batch is where we confirm the mix.
Is the data human-made, or does eeko use synthetic data?
Human-made by default. Every item is checked for generator signatures, C2PA and IPTC fields are read, and an expert reviews the content before it ships. Synthetic or model-assisted material is excluded unless your specification asks for it, and when it is included it is labeled at the item level so your team can filter it. The point of the practice is to supply what models cannot generate for themselves: new, expert-checked work with a consent record and a provenance record attached.
What formats do eeko training datasets ship in?
JSON Lines, CSV, Parquet, and WebDataset for the data itself, COCO for detection and segmentation tasks, and Croissant metadata describing the whole set. Schema, field names, and splits follow your specification and are fixed at the pilot stage. Every delivery closes with a signed receipt listing each file and item by hash, so the dataset you train on is the dataset that was verified.
How much do AI training data services cost?
Pricing follows the expertise and effort per item, so a clinician-graded preference pair costs more than a product attribute label, and a teleoperation episode is priced per episode rather than per hour. Every engagement is quoted at a fixed price against a written scope, with a pilot batch priced up front so you can check quality before committing to volume. Send the specification you have, even a rough one, and a data lead answers inside one business day with a scoped quote.
Can eeko license data we already hold, or data owned by someone else?
Yes on both counts. Creators and companies list what they hold through the eeko creator catalogue and company data channels, with consent, terms, and releases attached to each item, and AI teams license it from there. If you have an existing archive you want to train on but cannot document, the data licensing solution audits it, records provenance and consent where they can be established, and tells you plainly which items cannot be cleared.
Browse the data practice another way.
Bring the gap. We will propose the mix.
Describe what the model has to do and where it falls short. A data lead answers inside one business day with questions, a sourcing plan across the fourteen solutions, and a fixed quote for a pilot batch. No deck. A ranked list of what to source first.
