AI training experts by field. Sixteen specialties, one standard.

The eeko expert network, organized the way the work is: by the discipline each practitioner actually holds a credential in. For AI teams, this is where to find radiologists, attorneys, analysts, engineers, mathematicians, linguists, and operators who will write, label, and grade the data your model needs. For practitioners, it is where to find the field you work in and what we pay for it.

What are AI training experts by field?

AI training experts by field are credentialed practitioners, sorted by the discipline they work in, who produce and check the data a model is trained or evaluated on. The sorting is the point. A generalist annotator can draw a box around a car. They cannot tell a plausible indemnity clause from an enforceable one, a convincing floor plan from a legal one, or a proof that reads well from a proof that holds. The models that matter now are being judged on exactly those distinctions, so the people producing the data have to be the people who make those calls for a living.

eeko builds production AI for regulated enterprises, and the data practice exists because those systems need data nobody has published. The sixteen fields below are where AI teams ask us for help most often. Each has its own page covering what the data looks like, how it is produced and reviewed, what it costs, and who qualifies to make it. Every field is held to one standard: a verified maker, a second expert's review, consent and license recorded per item, and a signed provenance record on everything we deliver.

If you are buying, start with the field, then read how we work with AI teams and the annotation services page. If you are a practitioner, find your field, then the expert application is five minutes. Fields not listed here are staffed on request; the network already runs well beyond sixteen.

Sixteen fields, one verification standard.

Provenance record image · 1200 × 900
The record attached to one item: who made it, who reviewed it, when, under what consent and license, and the hash that proves it has not changed.

What travels with every item, whatever the field

  • Verified maker — a credential-checked practitioner in the field, identity confirmed by a person.
  • Second expert — every item reviewed by a peer, with the reviewer and outcome recorded.
  • Fingerprint and signature — a per-item cryptographic hash and a signed provenance record.
  • Independent timestamp — proof of when the item existed, from a source we do not control.
  • Consent and license — captured per item, not per batch, so rights are clear item by item.
  • Human-origin checks — generator signatures and C2PA and IPTC fields detected and logged.
  • Audit trail and receipt — a hash-chained log of the project and a signed delivery receipt listing every item.

The full mechanism is on the verified human data page. It is the same discipline we apply to the compliance and governance of the AI systems we build.

AI training experts by field, asked often.

What are AI training experts by field?

AI training experts by field are credentialed practitioners, grouped by the discipline they actually work in, who produce and check the data a model learns from. A radiologist labels imaging, a litigator grades legal reasoning, a mathematician verifies proofs, a translator judges output in their native language. Organizing the network by field matters because the quality of training data depends on who made it: a general annotator cannot tell a plausible contract clause from an enforceable one, and a model trained on the difference will not either.

How do you verify an expert's credentials?

A member of the eeko data team checks the license, certification, degree, or professional history the expert claims against the issuing body or institution, confirms identity, and records the verification privately before any paid work begins. Where a field requires it, the expert then completes a short, paid calibration exercise built from that project's guidelines, graded by a domain lead. Every item that expert later produces carries a signed provenance record linking it to that verified identity, visible to eeko and provable to the buyer without exposing the person's name.

How much does expert-made training data cost?

It is priced per project, fixed scope and fixed price, after a short briefing in which we agree the field, the task type, the volume, the format, and the review depth. The largest driver is the expert rate, which depends on the specialty: radiologist or transactional attorney time costs more than graduate-level grading. The second driver is review depth, since every item is checked by a second expert and some projects want a third. We quote a pilot batch first so you can measure quality before committing to volume.

Can we request a field that is not listed?

Yes. The sixteen fields on this page are the ones where demand is steadiest, not a limit. The expert network already includes economists, actuaries, biologists, psychologists, patent practitioners, licensed trades, hospitality managers, and real estate professionals, and new specialties are recruited as requests come in. Send the field, the task, and the credential you would expect the maker to hold, and a data lead will tell you within one business day whether we can staff it and how long recruitment would take.

How do experts join a field?

Through the expert application, which takes about five minutes and asks for your field, credentials, years of practice, availability, and languages. A person reads it and replies within one business day. When a project matches, we verify your credentials privately, run a short paid calibration task if the field needs one, and send the project brief with the task, the hourly rate, the expected hours, and the deadline. You accept or pass. There is no exclusivity, no minimum commitment, and no unpaid screening.

What formats and records come with the data?

Datasets ship in JSON Lines, CSV, Parquet, WebDataset, or COCO, with Croissant metadata describing the schema, and we match a custom layout where a training pipeline needs one. Every item carries a cryptographic fingerprint, a signed provenance record naming the verified maker and reviewer, an independent timestamp, and the consent and license terms captured for that item. Human-origin checks, including generator signatures and C2PA and IPTC fields, are recorded. The delivery closes with a hash-chained audit trail and a signed receipt listing every item.

Name the field. We will name the experts.

AI teams: send the field, the task, and the volume, and a data lead comes back inside one business day with a scoped pilot and a fixed price. Practitioners: find your field above and apply once. No deck. A ranked list of what we can staff, and when.
